Church Groups

United Methodist Women (UMW)

Meets: 3rd Thursday @ 6:30 p.m.

This is a wonderful group of Christian women who come together to serve the needs of our church, the local community and world in general. They are drawn together by desire to make the world a better place by coming to the aide of women and children wherever they are.

Youth Group (UMYF)

Meets: 4th Sunday Mornings @ 9:30 a.m.

This is group of dedicated young people who exist to learn, fellowship, and serve in the name of God. They engage in missions by giving of their time to do chores for those in need as well as assisting in many of the above events. They also sponsor a family each year during the holidays. They also attend a variety of local and Conference events each year.

Children’s Sing ‘n’ Ring 

Meets: 1st and 3rd Sundays after services

This group of children (ages 8 thru junior high) meet twice monthly after worship. During this time they learn about music, sing hymns, and play instruments; such as the choir chimes.

Handbell Ensemble

Rehearsals: Wednesday @ 5:00 p.m.

The “Bell Ensemble” is made up of 6-7 members (youth and adult) who ring 12-15 bells while performing music specially written for smaller groups. They follow the same performance schedule as the larger handbell choir.

Handbell Choir 

Rehearsals: Wednesday @ 5:45 p.m.

The “A Gift of Love Handbell Choir” is made of twelve dedicate members (youth and adult) who ring a set of 33 handbells which were lovingly donated by a former member who unfortunately passed a short time after. The choir performs during regular worship, special services, and even in the greater community.

Church Choir

Rehearsal: Wednesday @ 7:00 p.m.

Like all church choirs, ours is made up of a group of dedicated and faithful individuals who gather to practice and perform hymns to honor and worship their Lord.


Chocolate Festival

Held every February around Valentine’ Day. Proceeds go to help needy families.

Kite Flying Day 

Held in mid-Spring. Used to promote family togetherness in an exuberant outdoor setting

Hotdog Love:

Held on Halloween night as a way to engage the community and to feed those out and about trick-or- treating. Each person is given a hotdog and chips, along with Halloween candy while they rest during a safe stop on our church campus.

Mangers of the Heart 

The public is invited to enjoy food, music, and fellowship while viewing our large display of nativity scenes, both bought and homemade.

Bell Choir Concerts 

“Our Gift of Love Handbell Choir” performs each year at the local nursing homes and assisted-living facilities as well as offering a free concert to the whole community.



Other Activities

Yoga Exercise Class:   Saturday @ 9:30-11:00 a.m.

Class fee is on a sliding scale with a suggested donation of $10. Children are welcome at half price. No one will be turned away for financial reasons. Church members are encouraged to try the first class for free!  If you have health limitations that will hinder your ability to participate in an open class, but would still like to try yoga, please ask about private classes.
